Yamunotri Tour Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar → Barkot (180 km / 7-8 hrs)
Pickup: Early morning departure from Haridwar (around 6:00 AM). En Route Attractions: Rishikesh – Visit the iconic Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula (optional, if time permits). Mussoorie – Scenic hill station with views of the Shivalik range. Kempty Falls – A famous waterfall near Mussoorie (stop for refreshments and photography). Meals: Breakfast & lunch en route (at own expense). Arrival in Barkot: Check-in at the hotel. Rest and acclimatize for the next day’s trek. Overnight Stay: Barkot.
Day 2: Barkot → Janki Chatti → Yamunotri → Barkot (36 km drive + 12 km trek round trip)
Breakfast: Early morning departure (around 5:00 AM) for Janki Chatti. Drive: 36 km scenic drive to Janki Chatti (base point for the trek). Trek to Yamunotri: Distance: 6 km one way (by foot, horse, or palki). Trek through picturesque trails with rhododendron forests and scenic landscapes. Yamunotri Darshan: Yamunotri Temple – Dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Take a holy dip in Surya Kund (hot water spring). Offer prayers at the Divya Shila before entering the temple. Return to Barkot: Trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot. Overnight Stay: Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot → Haridwar (180 km / 7-8 hrs)
Breakfast: Check out from the hotel. Return Journey: Enjoy scenic views of the mountains and rivers en route. Stop for lunch and refreshments. Arrival in Haridwar: Check-in at the hotel. Attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in the evening. Overnight Stay: Haridwar.
